![]() ![]() The crashes are ok because the game autosaves your progress and I was able to get around the screen not refreshing by using Alt-Tab to leave and return to the game. It sometimes crashes and the screen sometimes stops refreshing. The only complaint I have is that the game has a couple of minor bugs. It's a slick game mechanic that makes all of the difference. You don't get back everything the dead minion had, but you get back 85% of what you lost, which is enough to continue playing the game and not rage quit. You can take one of the experienced brains that you've harvested and put it into the fresh minion, which immediately bumps it up to a level nearby the minion it replaced. What this means is that when you lose a minion and you build a new one, you aren't starting from scratch. You harvest parts from your fallen enemies, including their brains. In Iratus, you're building an army of the undead. You lose all of the time and effort that you put into those dead adventurers and have to start over from scratch, which is why I stopped playing that game. In Darkest Dungeon, when you lose an adventurer, or heaven forbid a TPK, you're screwed. The reason this is better than Darkest Dungeon is one simple game mechanic: harvesting brains. Much more enjoyable than Darkest Dungeon. ![]()
